Dental Implants Surgery in Indore
Dental implants surgery involves placing a small titanium screw into the jawbone, which fuses with the bone over time to create a strong and stable base for a prosthetic tooth. This process, known as osseointegration, ensures the implant functions just like a natural tooth. The artificial tooth, or crown, is then securely attached to the implant using an abutment, ensuring a natural and long-lasting restoration.

Why Choose Dental Implants Surgery?
Dental implants are a superior alternative to traditional bridges and dentures. Some of the key benefits include:
✔️ Natural Appearance & Functionality: Implants look, feel, and function like real teeth.
✔️ Long-Lasting Solution: With proper care, implants can last a lifetime.
✔️ Improved Speech & Comfort: Unlike dentures, implants stay securely in place, allowing you to speak and eat comfortably.
✔️ Bone Health Preservation: Prevents bone loss and maintains the natural structure of your jawline.
✔️ Boosts Confidence: Restores your smile, improving self-esteem and overall quality of life.
There are majorly three types of dental implants. Endosteal is the safest and widely used type of dental implant followed by subperiosteal and then zygomatic which are complicated.
These dental implants are made of titanium and shaped like small screws. These dental implants are established in the jaw bone.
This type of implant may be used in patients who do not have adequate healthy natural jawbone or do not wish to go for a bone augmentation treatment to rebuild it. These dental implants are established under the gum and on or above the jawbone.
It is a complicated procedure and only used when one doesn’t have enough jawbone for the endosteal implant. This type of implant is done in the patient’s cheekbone rather than jawbone.
There are several methods used to rebuild bone in case your jawbone is not able to support dental implants. These techniques retain your natural jawline and give a strong foundation for implant-supported teeth. These include:
- Bone augmentation: This is the technique used for restoring or regenerating bone in your jaw when it is not able to support implant otherwise.
- Sinus Lift: In this technique, bone is added below the sinus in cases where the natural bone has deteriorated because of missing upper back teeth. It is called sinus augmentation or sinus upliftment.
- Ridge expansion: It is a technique in which bone graft material can be added to a small ridge or space made along the top of your view if your jaw is too small to support dental implants.
The 3D Imaging and treatment planning technique is a fast technique for predictions and dental implant procedures. It helps to save time and money and reduces recovery time. This technique helps in analyzing the anatomy of the jaw and determine the best place for the implant before surgery.
- It gives a better appearance to your teeth.
- Dental implants appear and feel like original teeth.
- They are made to combine with bone and are long-lasting.
- Dental implants help the person to speak properly.
- They provide you all the comfort without giving you the feel of artificial teeth.
- Dental implants help you to chew your food without pain.
- They help to build your confidence and self-esteem.
- They help to restore long term oral health.
- Dental implants are convenient as they do not need any removal of dentures, thus are permanent in nature.
Strong and stable, a dental implant restores a lost tooth so that it looks, feels, fits and functions like a natural tooth. Other options can lead to bone deterioration and may interfere with eating, smiling, speaking and other activities of everyday life.
Traditional, tooth-supported dental bridges only last five to seven years, and with proper care often more than 10 years, but at some point, they may need to be replaced. While dental implants may need periodic adjustments, they can last a lifetime when properly placed and cared for over time.
A face without teeth can sag and appear sunken and sad. Dental implants allow you to maintain the natural shape of your face and smile.
Leaving empty spaces in your mouth after losing one or more teeth can lead to additional health issues, such as the loss and deterioration of some of your jawbone.
When it is not being used to support a natural tooth, the jawbone deteriorates, losing its strength and firmness. Dental implants are the only dental restoration option that preserves and stimulates natural bone, actually helping to stimulate bone growth and prevent bone loss.
Dental implants allow you to keep your teeth where they belong – in your mouth. And no more worrying that your dentures might slip or fall out. Brush, floss, and care for teeth that have been replaced using dental implants exactly the way you would for natural teeth.
Cavities can’t occur in an implant-restored crown, or replacement tooth; however, you will need to visit your dentist as scheduled and clean and care for your gums and mouth every day, the same as you would if it were a natural tooth.
Dentures may slip when you eat, talk, smile, laugh, kiss, yawn or a cough and then you have to reposition them back into place in the mouth. Dental implants are fixed in place and fuse naturally with your jawbone, which means your replacement teeth won’t move, click or shift.
Placing a tooth-supported bridge requires grinding away the teeth on one or both sides of the missing tooth or teeth – thereby damaging healthy teeth to restore those that are missing.
The modified healthy teeth are attached to, and support, the bridge. Dental implants go in the jawbone, in the spot where your missing tooth root was, without impacting healthy teeth.
They also help prevent healthy, adjacent teeth from shifting as they would if an empty space were left for an extended period of time.
Dental implant treatment has a track record of reliable, long-term successful outcomes and is often considered “more predictable” than other treatments to repair or replace missing teeth, including bridgework, removable appliances, and retreatment of failing root canal (endodontic) therapy.
Dental Implants Surgery Procedure
The process of dental implants surgery typically involves multiple stages:
Initial Consultation: The dental implants surgeon in Indore will evaluate your oral health, take X-rays, and develop a personalized treatment plan.
Tooth Extraction (If Needed): If a damaged tooth is present, it will be removed before implant placement.
Bone Grafting (If Required): If the jawbone lacks density, bone grafting may be performed before implant surgery.
Implant Placement: The titanium implant is surgically inserted into the jawbone and left to heal for a few months to integrate with the bone.
Abutment Placement: Once healing is complete, a connector (abutment) is attached to the implant.
Crown Placement: A custom-made crown is secured on the abutment, completing the restoration.
For those looking for immediate results, Full Teeth in 72 Hours is an advanced technique available at our clinic. This allows patients to receive fully functional teeth within three days of implant placement.
Post-Surgery Care for Long-Term Success
To ensure the success of your dental implants surgery, follow these essential care tips:
✔️ Maintain Good Oral Hygiene: Brush and floss regularly to keep your implants clean.
✔️ Avoid Hard & Sticky Foods: Protect the implants by eating a soft diet during the healing phase.
✔️ Regular Dental Checkups: Visit your dental implants surgeon in Indore for routine checkups and professional cleanings.
✔️ Quit Smoking & Limit Alcohol: Smoking and excessive alcohol consumption can slow healing and increase the risk of implant failure.
✔️ Use a Mouthguard (If Needed): If you grind your teeth, wearing a mouthguard can protect your implants from damage.

I got a three molars removed from Dr Anurag Bhargav. The surgery was performed in around 30-40 minutes for all the molars. The surgery was performed really well and I had a good experience. After the surgery, I experienced pain for around a week, but the painkillers prescribed really helped. I was satisfied with the quality of surgery and the medical staff at the clinic were also very courteous. They followed up a couple of days after the surgery to take feedback and remind me of the steps needed to heal faster. Overall, I would recommend Dr Anurag Bhargav for teeth extraction. Thank you.
